  2. Rawhide – Rawhide can be a choking hazard for small dogs. It can also cause digestive problems if it’s not properly chewed or digested.

  3. Chocolate – Chocolate contains a compound called theobromine which can be toxic to dogs. Keep chocolate out of reach and call your vet promptly if your dog eats it.

  4. Bones – Bones can be a choking hazard and can also cause digestive problems. It’s best to avoid giving your Yorkshire Terrier bones.

  5. Grapes and Raisins – Grapes and raisins can be toxic to dogs and can cause kidney failure. Call your vet immediately if your dog eats grapes or raisins, even if they seem well.

  6. Onions and Garlic: Onions and garlic are part of the Allium family, which can cause anemia in dogs.

  7. Xylitol: Xylitol is a sugar substitute found in many sugar-free products and can be poisonous to dogs.
