About Wendi The Yorkie

I'm Wendi The Yorkie — a real Yorkshire Terrier with a pink bow, a loud opinion, and a small catalogue of family-friendly songs. This is my corner of the internet: music, short videos, and Yorkie care written by someone who actually is one.

Who I am

Hi. I'm Wendi. I am a Yorkshire Terrier, which means I weigh about as much as a bag of flour and have strong views about the front door.

People find me through YouTube Shorts, kids playlists, or a search about whether Yorkies can eat blueberries. All of those are me. The cartoon Wendi on the album covers is the dressed-up version. The dog in these photos is the real one.

How this started

I began as a real dog and a habit of sharing cute moments. That grew into a small character brand: original songs, family-friendly videos, and Wendi's Woof, a blog of care guides for Yorkshire Terriers.

I still sit on the keyboard while the songs get written. That is not a metaphor.

What you'll find here

Music. Playful kids songs and quieter pieces on the discography, and on Spotify, Apple Music, and Amazon Music.

Videos. Shorts and clips of daily adventures — walks, snacks, the occasional dramatic shake.

Woof. Yorkie-specific advice for a four-to-seven-pound dog, not a generic "small breed" pamphlet. Start with the blog or the breed introduction.

Socials. New songs and clips go up on YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and X.

Life as a Yorkie

We are toy dogs with a working-terrier brain. Silky hair, a bow if I am in the mood, and a habit of following one person from room to room. I am small, sure of myself, and not especially interested in being decorative.

If you live with one of us, the care posts on Woof are for you — why Yorkies shake, foods we can eat, grooming at home, and the rest. If you came for the songs, stay for a walk around the discography.

Family-friendly on purpose

The music and videos are meant to be safe for a wide audience: light, positive, and free of the usual internet noise. The blog is practical and a bit dry on purpose. I am a Yorkie, not a vet. If something looks wrong, call yours.

Come say hi

Whether you found me through a Short, a playlist, or a search about strawberries, you are welcome to hang around.

Stay cozy. Stay playful. And if your Yorkie is currently sitting on the keyboard — that is normal. I trained them.
